Love is spiritual, it is impartial and universal for everyone who experiences it and perceives its benefits. Are we aware of the incorporeal existence of the Creator…Love…the Father of all…the divine Principle? It is time to wake up and recognize that the image of God man made in his own is not the Creator’s image which is spiritual and eternal. It is not physical. It is not humanly mighty.
“Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual, -neither in nor of matter, – and the body will then utter no complaints. If suffering from a belief in sickness, you will find yourself suddenly well. Sorrow is turned into joy when the body is controlled by spiritual Life, Truth, and Love.”
Nothing can upset or make us happy without our allowing it. It is my understanding of having dominion over the whole earth. Being aware of it makes us control what to allow in our lives, “casts out error and heals the sick” as Mary Baker said, with authority rebuke all what you don’t want.
Pride and fear are unfit to bear the standard of Truth.
Consciousness of right-doing brings its own reward.
Jesus said: “These signs shall follow them that believe; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
When mortals once admit that evil confers no pleasure, they turn from it. Remove error from thought, and it will not appear in effect.
It is sad that the phrase divine service has come so generally to mean public worship instead of daily deeds.
Jesus knew that matter had no life and that real Life is God. He allowed men to attempt the destruction of the mortal body in order that he might furnish the proof of immortal life. Nothing could kill spiritual Life of man.
In science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry. His origin is not, like that of mortals, in brute instinct, nor does he pass through material conditions prior to reaching intelligence. Spirit is his primitive and ultimate source of being; God is his Father, and Life is the law of his being.
Evil has no reality. It is neither person, place nor thing, but is simply a belief, an illusion of material sense.
Mind governs the body, not partially but wholly.
